So yeah.
The 4th novel, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, is getting its own movie.
Aside from being a obvious scheme to get more monies for less animating work, is this awesome?
Also, could this be a series-ender or might we eventually see the later, better stories animated sometime around 2031?
Then again, this is KyoAni we're talking about, and until I see the film itself, fansubbed, I should probably remain skeptical that it will ever happen.

Reminds me that I actually need to watch the second season of Haruhi, as I've just been enjoying the reactions of the fans to what transpired with Endless Eight. Good times.
