This last chapter has been mind blowing, really. I can't help but feel that the end is both near and far at this point. I really can't wait for the next chapter!
Spoiler:
I never realized that what was taken by the "truth" had such poetic significance. It's kind of cool...in a twisted way. And Wrath vs. Scar? This is going to be good! And Al leaving his body behind? Al, honey, what were you thinking! Your heart is in the right place, but what if you can't get your body back?
I thought Al completely made the right decision. In fact, because it is fiction and these things tend to happen, I'm guessing that choice will end up tipping the outcome of the manga.
Spoiler:
I still can't get over the Roy thing though. Jesus. For some reason, I find Roy becoming blind way more horrifying than almost anything else that could have happened to him. It gives me the shudders just thinking about it. DD: I hope it doesn't stick.
Just finished this month's chapter and OMGZ. It was awesome, sauce on the side!
Spoiler:
Not only was Al's sacrifice (hopefully not permanent) heart wrenchingly necessary and the battle of Ed vs Father epic, I like how we learn about what Greed really wants. It's not really that surprising, but I like that he owns up to wanting friends. I've always thought Greed was the most human-friendly of the homonculi. And what's going to happen with Scar? Last we see him, he's falling over. Hope he pulls through!
