[CJAS Otakon] Otakon is Next Week! Key Logistics and More

Hi everyone,

Otakon is next week, I expect that everyone is excited.

A few items and reminders:

(1) Thursday Arrivals

I will call each person listed on the wiki as a Thursday night arrival
to inform them of the arrangements. If you are not listed on the wiki
(www.cjas.org/mwiki/Otakon2014), do so immediately!

(2) Key Logistics

All of the room chairs are arriving on Thursday night. I will give all
of the keys to the room chairs when they arrive. Look in affinity to
see who the chair for your room is, and contact them if you are
arriving on Friday. There will not be a group meetup for key
distribution on Friday since the majority of people are arriving on
Thursday.

(3) Payment

There have been some questions about payment. Yes, I will take cash or
check at the convention, but it is my overwhelming preference to be
paid electronically in advance of the convention so I don't have to
store wads of cash.

The price for the whole weekend will be $100.

You can pay me electronically via one of the following options:

Amazon Payments - http://payments.amazon.com
Use the "Send Money" option and send to jmk17 at cornell.edu
You can use a credit card via this option.

Popmoney - (Your bank's website)
If your bank participates in Popmoney
(most large banks like Citibank, Wells Fargo, Chase, US Bank,
etc... do), somewhere in your online bank account you will have the
ability to send money to other people using this. Send the payment to
jmk17 at cornell.edu

Paypal
If you have a bank account linked to paypal, you can pay me via
paypal. I cannot accept credit card payments this way, however. Send the
payment to jmk17 at cornell.edu.
