We should also do that for room 6, which also has 6 people in it.
~Audrey

On Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 6:54 AM, Daniel Honig <deh222@cornell.edu> wrote:

I was talking to Joe about packing, and something that was tossed around was the question of who brings what. Towels, toiletries, clothes, etc. are all on a person-by-person basis, but what about things that are big and we don't need for everyone? I'm talking, of course, about sleeping bags. This is mainly aimed at people in Room 3, since that's where I am, but it's something that I figure should be sorted out: in the rooms, only 2 people really need to bring sleeping bags, 3 at max. If everyone brings sleeping bags, we're carrying more and losing at least 40 cubic feet of loot - space that could otherwise be used forcing everyone to bring back plamo models for the next event. Or something.

Anyhow, food for thought. I don't want to bring a sleeping bag if I don't have to, but really - the people who have the toughest trips should get it the easiest, or the people who are already carrying lots of stuff (complex cosplays, etc). I'd gladly bring a sleeping bag if it means that someone with 3 bags doesn't have to take a 4th because who would want to carry around and keep track of 4 bags?
So, yeah. Organization! Makes life so much easier for everyone.

I know Joe was planning to bring one. Who else in Room 3?

Thanks,
