Ten years before, they were both legendary assassins for the Ishin Shishi, two men whose only purpose in life was to kill. Now, one has become a criminal mastermind set on dominating Japan, while the other is a Rurouni who has vowed to preserve the peoples' peace. Two hitokiri from a violent era, both wield masterpieces crafted by Shakkuu Arai, although for different ends... At long last, it's finally here. The event that we've all been waiting for, for one and a half years, has finally come. This week, Himura Kenshin will take on Shishio Makoto in a no-holds-barred fight to the finish. This semester alone, Kenshin, Saitoh, and Sanosuke have had to beat the Juppon Gatana's best (Anji, Usui, and Soujiro) and Aoshi, and now they're finally up to the big man himself, Shishio. And if you think that Kenshin'll be able to leave this battle before one of them lies dead before the other's feet, you're sadly mistaken. This is it, the final battle. More or less. The reason I say that is because this battle to end all battles is a four-part extravaganza, of which we've only seen the beginning. Whether it's one battle, or four separate battles, I'll leave to you to decide, but either way it's big, and you haven't seen anything yet. In all honesty, the first episode of the battle really isn't that intense... not compared to what's coming up, at least. Name: Shishio Makoto Additional Notes: |
