| Animation - I love
anime and everything about them! My record
as of today stands at 70 hours of none stop anime watching (and you
wonder why I wear glasses). At one point I owned over 500 anime
tapes. That's got to be a record of some sort right? Below
are some of my favorite
destinations for Anime
|
| Traveling - I'm a big travel buff. Below
are some really cool people's travel sites.
| Pilgrims - A poem sent to me by my
dear friend Happy. I like it very much and I hope you will
feel the same way as well. |
|
Lizz's World Travel Website - After
quitting her job and traveling around the world for a year, Lizz has
some great stories to tell, aided by her many digital photographs.
Oh, she is a really cute girl too! Too bad she is much older
than me and lives in California. |
|
World Traveler 2000
- A couple's sponsored journey around the
world. Besides the written and
photographic journal entries, this site provides plenty of travel
advice too. |
|
Crazy Dog Online Travel
- Providing backpackers with invaluable information. |
|
| Diving - I got my first taste of diving
while I was in Sydney, Australia and have fallen in love with it ever
since. You should definitely try it too! There is a world
out there waiting for you to explore!
| PADI - The
way the world leans to dive! |
| Diving
in Thailand - traveler can find out just about anything when it
comes to
scuba diving in Thailand |
| Some favorite dives sites include: Similan
Islands, Thailand; Ras Muhammed, Egypt; and Australia. |
|
| Driving - I love to drive and drive
hard. On top of that, I have a perfect driving record after 11
years! Here are some of my favorites:
| Toyota -
I love Camery but my mom likes Avalon. Somehow, we manage... (
: |
| Lexus -
One of my favorite car is Lexus GS300. |
| GM -
I worked for GM during my graduate school years and did my thesis on
this company. They make great cars and at a great value.
I love the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car is a lot of fun
to drive! I kick ass in this baby. |
| Ford - An
excellent company that makes really cool cars. Ford is also
the company that gave me my first "real" job. My
proudest achievement: I manage to take out every car in the car pool
within a 2 month period! Hey, I got to make my way across the
street to my meetings somehow right? ( : |
|
| Flying - Where else can you go for 150 miles per hour
(though I came close - 110 on Chicago's I-90 - in my brother's Grand
Prix. Don't tell Scott!) and
not have to worry about a ticket? While I don't know how to fly
yet, this is definitely on my list of things to do before I become too
fat and too old. So, watch out boys, here I come! |
| Horseback Riding - I learned how to ride horses while in
Giza, Egypt, next to the Great Pyramids. While I am no
equestrian, I do enjoy putting a horse through a good gallop. I
hope I'll get to ride no matter where I end up. |
| Reading - My favorite Taiwanese authors are "Cheng Man
Chuan"
and "Three Hair"
(I apologize for the bad
English translation). In their worlds, I see love in this insane
world. My favorite English author is Tom Clancy
and William Shakespeare. |
| Rock Climbing - I was introduced to rock climbing while
traveling in Laos and boy am I hooked. Not only is it one of the
best exercise I know, one also get an unbeatable sense of
accomplishment once you have reached the top. If you haven't
tried it, start with an indoor facility and build up your muscles.
When you are ready, head outdoors and be ready to look really cool! |
| Trekking - I just love trekking. Not only do you get
to work out that extra pond of steak you ate last night, you also get
to meet many wonderful people. What can beat that? The
only problem is my knee. It is not as good as it used to be and
coming down hill can be a real problem for me. |
| Messing Around with Computers & Internet - Okay, so
I am a computer junkie, I admit it. I just love trying to figure
out how things work and trace down every little bug there is known to
men. Microsoft is making my job a little easier these days.
It used to take me hours if not days just to keep Windows working.
And Internet, well, do I need to say more if you are already reading
this? ( : |
| Making New Friends and Keeping in Touch With Old Friends -
Once upon a time, I used to believe that it is only natural for
Cinderella to marry the prince. As I grow older and accumulated
more scars, I have come to realize that there is neither absolute
right or wrong nor is there absolute justice or peace. Giving it
all doesn't mean you will receive the reward you seek. The
world, as it turns out, is full of imperfections and disappointments.
What keep me going, however, are my friends and family. Through
them, I can feel love - to love and be loved. Through them, I
can feel every emotions this indifferent world has to offer. For
that I am grateful. Thank you, my dear friends, for making my
journey a memorable one. |
