My Travel in Cambodia (Pictures from 2001-11-30 to 2001-12-06)

As the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Phem has yet to recover completely from the horrors of Khmer Rouge.  However, that doesn't mean you can't have a little fun - I did and I am sure you will too.

Product from Home

And all these years we thought Ithaca Guns has gone out of business! It seems their products at least is alive and well. Apparently it is one of Cambodian Army's favorite!

Go Ahead, Make My Day!

Okay, so I found out I wasn't a good shot after all. That's why later I used a BK40 (anti-tank rocket launcher) to take out the target. Who says I can't hit my mark?

AK-47

This baby doesn't have as much kick as I thought it would and it actually handled better than a M-16

A Brand New Police Shotgun

Now this baby packs a powerful punch!

Fire Away!

Since it is a shotgun, no much of aim is required

Firing a RPD

Basically, it is an AK-47 but with a round bullet clip so it functions as a machine gun. 100 bullets are gone in less than a minute of rapid firing!

Watch Out for the Empty Shells

After being hit a couple of time on the head by the ejected shells, I decided it is best to put on a helmet. Now I understand what an helmet is for!

Welcome to My Armory

So, what do you mean I haven't paid you yet? ( : By the way, only in Cambodia will you find AK-47, rocket launcher, cows, chicken and coke all on the same menu. And for those of you wondering, you can buy a cow for $300 to test out your $200 rocket launcher! Ouch!

Strangely, USD functions as the preferred currency within Cambodia. At this store, all prices are in USD only. So, don't change your money too soon.
