My Travel in Malaysia (Pictures from 2002-01-21 to

Malaysia's capital city is a curious blend of old and new. It's a
modern and fast-moving city. Walking in downtown Kuala Lumpur (or KL
as it is always referred to by the locals), you will soon realize just how
diverse this country really is. Though officially a Muslim country,
people here are free to worship their own religion and their government
remains a secular one. That said, I some how never quit feel at home
in KL but am not sure why. Perhaps this city is just a little too
fast-paced for a causal traveler such as myself.

Masjid Jamek (Friday Mosque)
Built in 1907 at the confluence of the Sungai Klang and Sungai Gombak near Merdeka Square, this was the place where KL's founders first set foot and where supplies were landed for the tin mines |

Central Market
Near Merdeka Square, this market offers a good hide away from the harsh sun with its powerful AC |
